the core of

alpha chi omega

Alpha Chi Omega offers an experience that respects and responds to the hopes, dreams, fears and realities of women in today’s world. Our sisters are innovators and those who make things possible. Together, we work to create a more positive reality, for ourselves and others. To know us will be to experience a voice that is respectful, genuine, open, empathetic, and honest.

We will define how a sorority will thrive, and be defined, today and in the future. Alpha Chi Omega is an organization about you: unique, talented, genuine women looking for a fun and meaningful way to enhance your college experience. It's also about strength in numbers through the 230,000 real, strong women who stand by your side, cheer you on and lead you to a lifetime of fulfillment, leadership and inspiration. Whether wearing the lyre badge with pride during a ritual ceremony, volunteering at a women’s shelter or networking with sisters across the country to land your dream job, Alpha Chi Omega is a chance to be your real self, while surrounded by sisters who are just as unique.

The Symphony of Alpha Chi Omega

To see beauty even in the common things of life,
to shed the light of love and friendship round me;
to keep my life in tune with the world that I shall make no discords in the harmony of life;
to strike on the lyre of the universe only the notes of happiness, of joy, of peace;
to appreciate every little service rendered;
to see and appreciate all that is noble in another, be her badge what it may;
and to let my lyre send forth the chords of love, unselfishness, sincerity.
This is to be my symphony.
